Network (telecoms) Troubleshooter (3rd Line) – London – £40k to £50k

Are you someone who sees the struggles of today as their strength tomorrow?
Do you have a minimum 4 years’ experience in network trouble shooting across both LAN’s and WAN’S in a telco environment?
You would ideally be someone who can solve problems, before they occur and possess a deep understanding of key network technologies, such as SIP trunking, and IP-PBX (cloud based is pref).
You would be competent using analysis, packet inspection and fault finding tools such as Wireshark, able to demonstrate excellent communication as this is essential as the role requires interpreting and diagnosing escalated faults on third party networks and liaising with tech teams based within a reseller community.
Experience of Asterisk and FreeSWITCH would be highly beneficial, but not essential but what this business is really looking for in your technology kit bag is firewall tech and concepts, SIP trunking, IP-PBX, VLAN, Switching, Routing L2-L7 network stack, MPLS & IP-SEC
You will take full ownership of escalated faults, use troubleshooting tools to provide advice on how to resolve issues.
